Ghost finder general, Howard, leads a special midnight tour for adults only around Pembroke Castle’s creepy passageways, gloomy towers and spiral staircase. Meet at 22:15 before the gates are locked!
This Halloween you are invited by our Ghost Finder General, Howard, to join him in a special midnight tour around Pembroke Castle’s creepy passageways, gloomy towers and spiral staircases, as he tells you a selection of our ghost sightings and poltergiest happenings from our 900 year history of violent and untimely death. Victims, I mean, visitors must assemble at the Gatehouse at 22:15 and the gates will be locked at 22:30 at the start of the tour. The tour around the Castle lasts for about an hour and a half after which you will retire to the sanctuary of the cafe for free tea/coffee/juice and welshcake. The evening will be completed with more stories and an exchange of personal experiences. The gates will open to let you escape the horror at about 00:30 the next day!
Tickets are £10 per person, and are available to buy in the Castle’s shop or book online. The tour is for people aged 16+, however, 16-17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.
Halloween costumes are encouraged, but please wear warm outdoor clothing and suitable footwear – our tower’s staircases are a chilling place at night! A torch is essential as you can only see ghosts with the help of light!
Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. No alcohol is permitted and anyone under the influence will be refused entry.
Join ghost finder general, Howard, on an after-hours ghoulish ghost tour around Pembroke Castle. Meet at the gatehouse before 5.30pm because the gates will then be locked! The tour is for ages 7 and up, and they ask children to stay close to their parents and grandparents at all times, as adults tend to scare easily!
